DAY 1
Upon arrival reception, assistance and transfer to the hotel. Three hour tour of the city, including Santa Catalina Convent, the Plaza de Armas, the Jesuit church of La Compañia and its beautifully-painted chapel, and the typical districts of Cayma and Yanahuara for a magnificent view of the Misti volcano.
DAY 2
Half day tour to the surrounding of the «White City» to enjoy the countryside and sunny weather as you travel to Sabandia Mill and the Founders Mansion. The visit of this Mansion can be substituted for a visit to the exhibit of the mummy «Juanita», a virgin of the Sun who was sacrificed to the «Apus» or spirits of the mountains and recently discovered in Ampato glacier. Transfer to the airport for departure flight. (B)
AREQUIPA AND COLCA CANYON 03 DAYS/02 NIGHTS
DAY 1 AREQUIPA - COLCA LODGE
08:00 Leave Arequipa towards nor west direcction, Yura, small valley with thermal springs, behind Chachani snowy mountain we’ll have the opportunity to see wild vicuñas in Pampa Cañahuas, Alpazas & llamas in Tocra, some birds like flamingoes, ibis, andean gooze, ducks, andean eagle “Kara Kara”. Outlook of the volcanoes in Patapampa (4,800 m. – 15,000ft.). See the Ampato, Sabancaya, Walca Walca, etc. Chivay, capital of the valley. Afternoon visit to the thermal springs and pools in La Calera, you can enjoy dinner with a typical folkloric shows. Overnight at Colca
DAY 2 COLCA CANYON
Breakfast at hotel, early morning after breakfast leave for a full day excursion in the left shore, beautiful typical towns, like Yanque and Maca, colonial churches, gently people with typical needlework dresses, hundreds of pre inca terraces still in use with andean growings like corn, qinua, kiwicha (amaranto), etc. Lookout of the cross of the condor: see the deep of the canyon and the flight of the condor. Stone scale models, some pre inca graves. Afternoon at free. Overnight at Colca.
DAY 3 AREQUIPA
Breakfast at hotel, morning at leisure and in the afternoon pick up you to return to Arequipa (arriving at 18:00 hrs approx). Transfer to your hotel.
